This Privacy Notice explains how Aclis collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our app. Aclis is a photo compression and image format conversion tool designed to help you reduce file size, adjust image quality, convert formats, and remove EXIF metadata. We are committed to keeping your photos private and processing them in a secure, minimal, and transparent way.
In general, Aclis is designed to process your images locally or through our own internal server systems only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell user data, and we do not use user content for advertising or AI model training.
Information you provide: When you choose photos to compress or convert, the app may access the image files you select. If you contact support, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your message.
Information collected automatically: We may collect limited device and usage information such as app version, operating system version, crash reports, performance diagnostics, and basic interaction events needed to operate and improve the app.
Cookies and similar technologies: Aclis is an app, not a website, and it does not use advertising cookies. If any local storage or similar technology is used, it is only for essential app functionality such as remembering your preferences or storing your history locally.
Aclis does not use any third-party AI services to process your data. Any AI-related or automated processing that may be used for app functionality is performed exclusively on our own internal servers, under our control.
Uploaded photos and related data are processed only for the purpose of providing the requested feature and are deleted after processing is complete, unless you choose to keep the resulting file in your history or save it to your device.
We do not use your content for AI training, model fine-tuning, or model optimization. Your photos are not used to build datasets for public or third-party use.
Uploaded content: Photos you upload for compression or conversion are deleted after processing is completed.
Generated results: Output files and history records may be stored in your in-app history so you can review them later. You can delete these items at any time from within the app.
Temporary processing data: Temporary files created during processing are deleted as soon as the task is finished.
Crash logs: Crash reports and diagnostic logs may be retained for up to 12 months for debugging, stability, and security purposes.
Support messages: Messages you send to our support team may be retained for up to 6 months after resolution, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Aclis does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or biometric profiling. We do not create face templates, facial embeddings, or other biometric identifiers.
If your photos contain faces, they are treated as ordinary image content for compression or format conversion only. We do not analyze faces for identity, emotion, age, or any other biometric purpose. Any uploaded images are deleted after processing, except where you choose to keep the output in your history or save it locally.
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain information associated with your use of Aclis, depending on your location and applicable law.
You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you do so, some features may no longer be available.

We use information only to operate, secure, maintain, and support Aclis and to provide the features you request.

We do not use uploaded photos or user-generated content for marketing purposes or to build targeted advertising profiles.
Any processing is limited to delivering compression, conversion, EXIF removal, history management, troubleshooting, and service improvement based on aggregated or non-identifying signals where appropriate.
Depending on your location and the infrastructure used to operate the service, your information may be processed in different countries or regions. When this occurs, we take steps intended to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable legal requirements.
If third-party infrastructure providers are involved, they are required to handle data only under our instructions and may only process it as needed to provide hosting, storage, or related technical services.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, limited access to personal data, secure configuration practices, and routine monitoring for operational issues. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Aclis is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, legal requirements, or technical operations. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice in the app if the changes are significant.
Your continued use of Aclis after an updated version becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised notice.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Aclis, you agree to the collection, use, and handling of information described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
